The Westar Energy group, the American leader in surveillance and energy services, has just undertaken to sell its controlling interest in Protection One Europe holding, listed on the Marche Libre of Euronext Paris, to the venture capital mutual funds managed by ABN AMRO Capital France in association with some senior executives of Protection One Europe Holding who will invest alongside. Protection One Europe Holding is the holding company of Protection One group in Europe, and specializes in the sale of remote security contracts in France, Germany and Belgium.
